With a passion and love for ornamental plants, Mr. Tran Nhat Khoa (in My Thang commune, Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province) spent time and persistently bended the Thanh tree trunks to shape the heart to give to his wife.
"About 15 years ago, I bought the heart-shaped banyan tree to create an artistic landscape tree shape. After a period of letting the banyan tree grow its own branches and have two separate sturdy trunks, I began to have the idea of bending the tree in a " intercropping" manner. This is the position of two tree trunks intersecting, creating a solid support, symbolizing the love of the tree attached to the glue paint.
It was also from that idea that I cherished a heart-shaped tree to give to my wife, Tran Thi Kim Oanh - who has accompanied, supported, and attached herself to me to carry out my passion for playing with ornamental plants in art", Mr. Khoa happily said.

While admiring the heart-shaped banyan tree, Mr. Khoa shared that creating artistic bonsai photos requires carefulness, meticulousness and creativity. Each work carries its own story, right from the moment of the embryo, he has pruning each small branch, gradually bending it according to the idea outlined in his head.
After more than a decade of care, the work "song tu giao luong" - also known by Mr. Khoa as the "wife- praised" tree - has also been completed.
Mr. Khoa teased: "Since the tree was completed, every special holiday, I have carried the tree from the yard to the living room for display. I often tell my wife and family that there is a "wife-praying" tree just to decorate the house, but I do not have to spend money to buy flowers anymore".

Ms. Oanh (Mr. Khoa's wife) shared: "My husband is passionate about trees, the garden has dozens of works made by him, so when he bent the banyan tree on me, he didn't know it was a bend to "show off" me. When he gave me this tree and talked about the meaning of tree shaping, I was truly moved and happy. I feel the respect and love he has for me."
For Mr. Khoa, the "wife- praising" tree not only shows the affection between him and his wife but also sends to his children and grandchildren about the love of the family. Because of the profound meaning that Mr. Khoa's "wife- tallowing" tree conveyed, many people who heard it expressed their desire to buy it back, even some offered a very high price but he did not sell.
