On September 8, the Standing Committee and the Party Executive Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee held a conference to listen to and give opinions on many important contents related to socio-economic development, directly affecting people's lives.
At the conference, delegates discussed and gave opinions on a number of reports and submissions such as: draft Regulations on a number of preferential policies, investment support in the fields of digital transformation, network security, semiconductors, electronic components, construction of laboratories, innovation centers for the period 2025 - 2030; supplementing funding for implementing administrative unit arrangement in 2025; funding for implementing Decision No. 628/QD-UBND and the Program for developing science, technology, innovation, digital transformation for the period 2025 - 2030.
The conference also considered proposals on the establishment of the Industrial Park Management Board and the pilot establishment of the Hung Yen Economic Zone Management Board; draft Decision on decentralization of authority to issue, reissue, extend, and revoke labor licenses for foreign workers; draft Project on implementing periodic health check-ups once a year for people in the province; stipulating fees and services to support educational activities in public facilities in the 2025 - 2026 school year; synthesizing the results of consulting the Provincial People's Committee on the form of selecting contractors to implement bidding packages under the project to invest in the construction of a road from Thai Binh ward to Hung Ha commune connecting with Pho Hien ward.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - emphasized that the contents discussed were of great significance, directly affecting the socio-economic development of the province. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee agreed with many policies, requesting relevant units to complete reports and submissions to submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested departments, branches and localities to fully absorb comments, clarify the legal basis, necessity and suitability with reality; assign the Department of Finance to coordinate in reviewing the draft Regulations on a number of preferential policies and investment support in the fields of digital transformation, network security, semiconductors, electronic components, construction of laboratories and innovation centers in the period of 2025 - 2030.
