In the afternoon of March 11, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to deploy work to serve the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
At the meeting, members of the Sub-Committee reported on the situation and progress of implementing tasks according to the plan; and discussed solutions to ensure health, environmental sanitation, disease prevention and control, natural disasters and necessary conditions to serve the election day.
Up to this point, member units of the Sub-Committee have proactively developed plans and implemented tasks according to assigned functions; prepared necessary conditions to ensure health, environmental sanitation, epidemic prevention, and natural disaster prevention to serve the election.

At the same time, the units have reviewed and arranged on-duty forces, developed plans to be ready to handle arising situations promptly, contributing to ensuring the election takes place safely and in accordance with regulations.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to closely monitor the weather situation, promptly advise on disaster response plans; strengthen management, inspection, and handling of issues related to environmental sanitation and waste, ensuring favorable conditions for election organization.
The Department of Health is required to develop a plan, direct affiliated medical facilities to arrange on-duty forces at polling stations, prepare sufficient facilities, medicines, and emergency vehicles; strengthen propaganda, inspection, and supervision to ensure food safety at polling stations.
The Provincial Police directed forces, especially traffic police, police of communes and wards, to proactively deploy plans to ensure traffic order and safety, firmly grasp the grassroots situation, and be ready to promptly handle situations related to security and order, fire and explosion prevention before, during and after the election period.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested Party committees and authorities of communes and wards to strengthen environmental sanitation, organize cleaning and embellish polling areas, ensure cleanliness and safety; promote propaganda on food safety and hygiene, and disease prevention and control in the locality.
Departments and sectors that are members of the Sub-Committee are required to maintain information and reporting regimes, closely coordinate in the process of performing tasks, and at the same time strengthen inspection at the grassroots level according to assigned functions, promptly detect and handle arising issues, contributing to ensuring the election takes place safely, in accordance with regulations and successfully.
