Attending the conference were Ms. Dang Thi Kim Chung - Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ); the Executive Committee of Dong Mai Ward Trade Union and more than 30 delegates who are representatives of grassroots trade unions, union members, and workers in Dong Mai Industrial Park (KCN).
Dong Mai Industrial Park currently has 28 businesses with 16,389 union members and workers working.
At the conference, delegates were informed about the purpose, meaning, importance and new points of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The training content focuses on the basic regulations of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies in 2015 (amended and supplemented in 2025); Law on Organization of the National Assembly; Law on Organization of Local Government.
Delegates were also disseminated Circular No. 21/2025/TT-BNV dated October 12, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding professional operations for organizing the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, along with directives and instructions from the Central Government, provinces and localities related to the election.
The conference also provided information on the consultation process; principles, election procedures; deputy standards; voting rights and candidacy of citizens; structure, number of deputies; rights and responsibilities of voters, candidates for National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels.
Through the training conference, it will contribute to helping union members and workers grasp the provisions of the law, actively participate in the election day, and contribute to organizing democratic, lawful, safe and effective elections.
