According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, recently, on some traffic routes in the province, there has been a situation where farm vehicles, small tractors serving agricultural and forestry production, self-assembled three- and four-wheeled vehicles, and homemade vehicles have been operating strongly on traffic routes.
These types of vehicles have been banned, especially motorbikes and scooters towing other vehicles, exceeding the permitted size limit. However, they are still operating strongly on the roads, causing danger to road users and posing a high risk of traffic accidents.
Faced with the above situation, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have directed the Traffic Police force to coordinate with the police forces of districts, towns, cities, and communes, wards, and towns to review and count the number of homemade vehicles and trailers in the area.
From there, combine propaganda to help vehicle owners continue to understand and grasp the legal regulations on the prohibition of self-made vehicles and the dangers of operating these vehicles on the road. At the same time, mobilize and require owners of self-made vehicles and trailers to sign a commitment to voluntarily dismantle and not operate these vehicles on traffic routes.
In addition, starting from September 15, the traffic police force will coordinate with the mobile police force, public order, criminal police, and police of communes, wards, and towns to increase patrols, control, detect, and strictly handle homemade vehicles and trailers participating in traffic on routes and areas.
Mobilize forces and means, use synchronous professional measures, focus on inspection, strictly and thoroughly handle homemade vehicle manufacturing facilities and drivers of homemade vehicles and trailers who violate the law, ensuring the safety of life and health of traffic participants.
