The Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has reported on the plan and plan to deploy the relocation of the statue "Determined to die for the Fatherland to live" out of the Ba Kieu Temple relic site, Hoan Kiem ward.
The unit said that it has coordinated with representatives of: Hanoi Capital High Command, Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee and related units to survey and propose a plan to move the monument in the area of Ba Kieu Temple relic.
After surveying at the site, preliminary assessing the technical condition of the project, exchanging and agreeing on plans and relocation plans between units, representatives attending the meeting basically agreed on the following contents: Relocation implementing unit: Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee; statue receiving unit: Capital High Command; coordinating unit: Hanoi Relic and Scenic Site Management Board (Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
In which, Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee is responsible for moving the entire statue block to the location selected by the Capital High Command, completing the installation of the statue onto the statue podium block designed and constructed by the Capital High Command at the selected location; responsible for all costs of surveying, measuring, drawing, dismantling, transporting, completing the installation, dismantling the podium, leveling, and returning the ground after moving the statue...
The Capital High Command is responsible for presiding over the design and construction of the statue podium according to the current model. After completing the construction of the podium, it will be notified to the Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee to proceed with moving the statue to the location selected by the Capital High Command and organize complete installation.
The Hanoi Relic and Scenic Site Management Board coordinates with the Information - Press - Publishing Department in communication and propaganda work on moving the monument out of the Ba Kieu Temple relic site, which is one of the important events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Resistance Day; chairing tasks related to spiritual and religious factors before, during and after dismantling the statue and installing it at the new location; reporting to the City People's Committee on the plan and implementation progress.
Regarding the selection of consulting units for implementation, Hoan Kiem Ward People's Committee and the Capital High Command agreed to choose a consulting unit (invited by the Capital High Command) to match the dismantling, relocation and re-installation stages conveniently, safely, and technically and artistically.
Move the statue and complete installation at the new location before September 30 (avoid moving in July of the lunar calendar).
