On August 21, Long Chau Ward People's Committee coordinated with Vinh Long Employment Service Center to organize the 2026 Job Transaction Session, with the theme "Consulting and connecting jobs for workers and people receiving unemployment benefits".
The activity attracts about 400 students, union members, youth, demobilized soldiers, workers and people receiving unemployment benefits. These are groups that need to find jobs and learn a trade.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Hoang Nam - Vice Chairman of Long Chau Ward People's Committee said that creating jobs, improving income and the lives of workers is a key task that the locality is particularly concerned about.
At the transaction session, Vinh Long Employment Service Center and representatives of businesses informed about recruitment needs, labor market trends, skill requirements and career opportunities.
Workers and students can directly learn about recruitment positions, income levels, working conditions, welfare regimes and vocational training programs at the business's booth.
The transaction session creates conditions for businesses to directly meet and advise workers, students, union members, and youth on vocational training, employment and recruitment policies.
At the same time, workers have access to official information about the domestic labor market and the program to work abroad under contract, thereby proactively choosing.
