On the morning of September 29, Road Management Department 2.3 Bao Loc under Thanh Nam Construction Investment Company 886 (Bao Loc Pass maintenance unit) mobilized more than 10 workers, excavators, and dump trucks to focus on overcoming the landslide at km 98 of National Highway 20 through Bao Loc Pass in Da Huoai 2 Commune.
According to Mr. Ho Huu Ha, an officer of Bao Loc Road Management Department 2.3 , after checking, many dangerous cracks appeared at the landslide site on Bao Loc Pass that could continue to slide at any time.
Along with that, at the landslide location with a large amount of rock and soil that needs to be treated to ensure smooth and safe traffic through Bao Loc Pass.
After the inspection, Hat reported to the Company's leaders to mobilize human resources and means to overcome the landslide site. After nearly 6 hours of focusing on the repair, by 2:50 p.m. the same day, the repair work of the landslide site was basically completed, ensuring safe traffic through Bao Loc Pass.
The 2.3 Bao Loc Road Management Department has transported more than 200 cubic meters of soil and rock out of the landslide site; at the same time, dredged the positive slope to prevent landslides.
Also according to the representative of Bao Loc Road Management Department 2.3 , through the survey, there are some points on Bao Loc Pass that are at high risk of landslides if heavy rain continues.
The unit is coordinating with the Traffic Police and local authorities to focus on monitoring to promptly handle any incidents that arise.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, after receiving the information, Madaguoi Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police) mobilized forces to coordinate with Thanh Nam Construction Investment Company 886 to overcome the landslide.
After nearly 2 hours of effort, at about 6:20 p.m. the same day, all the landslides of soil, rocks, and bushes were collected by the authorities to the roadside to ensure smooth traffic through the pass.
