At Km77+300 on National Highway 8A in Son Kim 1 commune, landslides occurred, trees fell across the road, causing congestion, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. The incident caused many vehicles to be jammed, extending the two ends of the road.

Immediately after receiving the report, local authorities, along with the police force of Son Kim 1 commune and functional units, quickly arrived at the scene, deployed checkpoints, directed traffic flow, and instructed vehicles to stop and turn around at safe points.

The authorities are also mobilizing machinery and mechanical means to urgently level and clear rocks and soil, and soon reopen the route.

Son Kim 1 Commune Police recommends that during the time to fix the incident, people and drivers absolutely do not move through Km77+300 National Highway 8A, strictly follow the instructions and regulations of the authorities to ensure the safety of life and vehicles.

At the same time, vehicle owners need to closely monitor warning information and proactively choose alternative routes to avoid congestion and danger.

Affected by storm No. 10, some other roads in Ha Tinh were blocked by fallen trees and electric poles, causing traffic congestion. The authorities and local authorities are urgently repairing the problem to reopen the route.
