The delegation inspected 2 Works and Projects including: Tu Minh Secondary School Construction Project (phase 1) and the project to renovate and upgrade Vu Manh Hung Street, Lo Cuong area, Tu Minh ward, from Truong Chinh Street to Lo Cuong communal house.
At the places where inspection was conducted, after listening to representatives of construction units and professional staff report on the implementation progress, difficulties and problems in the implementation of the Works and Projects; Mr. Le Van Trung - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee held a meeting to continue listening to reports on the implementation progress of items, difficulties and problems; as well as the implementation plan for the next phase.
The Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested construction units and related departments to focus resources, closely follow the progress, ensure quality, technical and labor safety, strive to complete the project according to plan, contribute to improving infrastructure and meeting local development needs. In particular, it especially urges the implementation of the Tu Minh Secondary School Construction Project, and relevant parties to quickly complete the items of phase I to hand over to the school to prepare conditions and activities for the new school year 2025 - 2026.
On the same day, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sam - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee and specialized departments also surveyed the current status of site clearance for the National Highway 5 service road project, from Nghe intersection to Lai Cach intersection in the ward. At the survey, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee listened to a report on the implementation situation, compensation, support and resettlement progress, and grasped the difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process.
During the survey, the Vice Chairman of the ward directly met and discussed with a number of affected households to listen to opinions and aspirations, and answer some questions related to compensation, support and resettlement plans. At the same time, he requested that specialized departments closely coordinate with the construction unit and functional agencies, continue to mobilize and propagate for people to agree, speed up the site clearance progress, ensure the timely handover of clean land, serve the project's construction.
