The focus is on promoting propaganda and dissemination of knowledge and skills of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue through newspapers, media, as well as directly in residential areas, production facilities, and households.
People are instructed to use electricity safely, turn off equipment when not necessary, and avoid overload causing fire.
For the People's Committees at the commune level, it is necessary to proactively inspect and supervise the implementation of legal regulations on fire prevention and fighting; strengthen management of houses, houses combined with production and business and high-risk establishments.
Violations must be resolutely handled according to the correct authority.
The Provincial People's Committee also directed to continue launching a movement for the entire population to participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue; replicate effective models such as "PCCC Safety Joint Venture Group", "P public Fire Fighting Point", "My House has Fire Fighting Bottles" ...
Previously, at around 7:00 p.m. on September 6, a business establishment on Thai Nguyen Street (Nha Trang Ward) caught fire. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force of the Provincial Police coordinated with local authorities to promptly control and prevent the fire from spreading to people's houses.
The fire did not cause any human casualties but burned down most of the property and affected security and order in the area.
