This is the first year Nghe An has implemented military recruitment according to the two-level local government model. Despite facing many challenges such as large area, large population and a part of young people going to work far away or living abroad, under the direction of Military Region 4 and the synchronous involvement of the political system, the recruitment work has completed 100% of the target.

This year, Nghe An has 3,816 young people enlisting, of which 3,450 young people joined the People's Army and 366 young people joined the People's Police force. These new recruits are all outstanding citizens, carefully selected from localities in the province.

At the ceremony, leaders of Nghe An province emphasized the important role of military and police duties in protecting the country, and at the same time encouraged new recruits to promote the heroic tradition of their homeland, strive to study, train and excellently complete all tasks.

New recruits need to fully realize their sacred honor and responsibility, worthy of the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and "People's Police serving the people".

In an emotional atmosphere, the new recruits could not hide their pride when leaving. Vo Anh Sang, 18 years old, from Yen Trung commune, expressed: "The decision to enlist is an important turning point in my life. I want to train myself, learn from my predecessors and overcome challenges to become stronger people.

Nguyen The Son, 25 years old, from Van Kieu commune, has given up his stable job to participate in police duty. Son shared: "Police duty is not just a task, but an opportunity for me to contribute to society, protecting national security and order.

With the spirit of determination and aspiration to contribute, Nghe An youth will continue to strive to excellently complete the task of protecting the Fatherland, growing up and standing firm in the military and police environment.
