On September 7, according to information from the Dong Nai City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Tan Hien bridge project is expected to be approved in the fourth quarter of 2026 and construction started in the second quarter of 2027.
The Tan Hien bridge project across the Dong Nai River, connecting Thuong Tan commune (HCMC) with Tan Trieu ward (Dong Nai City) is one of the road bridge projects that the two localities have agreed to deploy investment and construction to connect traffic, serve socio-economic development needs and people's travel needs.
Previously, in July 2026, Dong Nai City People's Committee also issued a decision approving the investment policy for the Tan Hien Bridge Project.
Accordingly, Tan Hien bridge has an investment scale of 6 lanes, 33.5m wide, of which the bridge section is about 0.56km long, and the access road section is 0.58km long.
