In the afternoon of March 16, in Ham Thang ward (Lam Dong province), a fire of dry grass occurred in a residential land area. The fire location is behind a gas station at km6 National Highway 28.
At the time of the fire, this area had strong winds, surrounded by many flammable materials such as dry grass and dry trees, so the fire broke out and spread quickly.

At the scene, black smoke rose high, covering the area behind the gas station, posing a risk of fire spreading to the fuel storage area.
Discovering the incident, gas station staff and people used fire extinguishers to put out the fire on the spot. However, due to the rapid spread of the fire, initial control was difficult.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Team of Area 5 under the Fire and Rescue Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police dispatched specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to deploy fire fighting plans.
Functional forces of Ham Thang ward also came to the scene to coordinate and support firefighting.

Thanks to the timely deployment of professional measures, the fire was quickly controlled, preventing it from spreading to the gas station area, ensuring safety for people and surrounding property.
