On August 11, news from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department) said that through patrol and control work on the Cam Lam - Nha Trang expressway, the unit made a record of handling driver P.D. M (born in 1981, residing in Dong Nai) driving a truck seriously violating traffic safety regulations.
Regarding the vehicle driver, functional forces determined that driver P.D. M committed two violations: Not using the driver's ID card to log in information as prescribed (fine of 1.5 million VND, minus 2 points for the driver's license) and No driver's license (fine of 19 million VND, temporarily seizing the vehicle for 7 days).
At the same time, the police agency also handled the responsibility of the vehicle owner, T.L DVVT Cooperative, for the following violations: Not issuing driver identification cards to drivers and Letting unqualified people drive vehicles to participate in traffic.
The total fine for both drivers and vehicle owners in this case is 85.5 million VND, accompanied by an additional penalty of temporarily detaining the truck for 7 days and revoking the vehicle badge for 2 months.
Faced with the above situation, the Traffic Police Department recommends that people and transport business units must ensure full legal conditions for driver's licenses before using vehicles to participate in traffic.
Currently, the surveillance camera system has been widely deployed on highways to record, verify and strictly handle all violations.
