Information from Hanoi City Police, on the night of June 16, the Fire and Rescue Police force (PCCC&CNCH) in coordination with the grassroots PCCC force and local authorities completely extinguished the fire at a kiosk in My Dinh Market, successfully protecting hundreds of Market kiosks.
Accordingly, at about 11:35 pm on June 16, through patrol and control work, the grassroots fire prevention and fighting force discovered a fire at a kiosk in My Dinh Market. Immediately after that, functional forces organized initial firefighting and called to report the fire.
Upon receiving the news, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center dispatched 4 fire trucks and 1 fire command vehicle of the Fire and Rescue Team, Area No. 16 and 2 - Hanoi Fire and Rescue Police Department, along with nearly 30 officers and soldiers quickly arrived at the scene to deploy firefighting and rescue.
Only about 3 minutes after receiving the news, the standing force at on-duty location No. 2 of Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 16 approached the scene to deploy firefighting.
Through reconnaissance, the fire occurred at a food and drink kiosk, with brick walls and corrugated iron roofs, with the possibility of spreading to neighboring kiosks.
Because at the time of the fire, the kiosk was closed, inside containing many flammable materials, the fire was likely to develop quickly and generate a lot of toxic smoke, making it difficult to access inside to extinguish the fire. The fire commander directed officers and soldiers to quickly divide into 2 fire fighting teams and prevent the fire from spreading.

Other functional forces such as the Ward Police, Ward Military Command, militia and self-defense forces, civil defense forces and grassroots security and order forces have coordinated to divert traffic, maintain order and support the implementation of firefighting.
After a period of efforts to organize firefighting and rescue, by 11:51 PM on the same day, the Fire and Rescue Police force completely extinguished the fire, preventing the fire from spreading to the surrounding area, thereby protecting more than 4,000m2 of the market with hundreds of kiosks of small traders.
