On December 19, Tan Lan Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province contacted relatives to bring the woman who intended to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge home.
Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on December 18, 2025, Tan Lan Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province received a report from the people about the discovery of a woman standing in a dangerous area on the railing of My Loi Bridge, in Hamlet 4, Tan Lan Commune, showing signs of planning to jump off the bridge to commit suicide.
Immediately after receiving the information, Captain Phan Thanh Hiep - Tan Lan Commune Police officer - quickly arrived at the scene.
Recognizing the emergency situation, Comrade Hiep approached from behind and promptly brought the woman inside the bridge, ensuring her safety.
The woman was then taken to the Tan Lan Commune Police headquarters.
With perseverance, dedication to mobilizing and convincing, Captain Phan Thanh Hiep successfully advised the tournament, helping the woman give up the idea of committing suicide.
Through investigation, the woman said that she has a permanent residence in Dong Thap province. The reason for the above action was due to economic conflicts and family frustration.
In a moment of turmoil, this person drove a motorbike to My Loi bridge with the intention of committing suicide.
Thanks to the timely intervention of the police force and the encouragement and advice, the woman's spirit gradually stabilized and was welcomed home by relatives.
