On May 2nd, Hanoi Police said that the incident happened on May 1st, on the railway section in the area of the entrance to the Military Forensic Institute (Km15, National Highway 1A, Ngoc Hoi commune, Hanoi).
Accordingly, in the process of performing patrol duties to ensure security and order in the area, the task force of Ngoc Hoi Commune Police promptly discovered and prevented Mr. H.V. Y (born in 1997, registered permanent residence: Gia Phu, Son La, currently residing in Tu Khoat village, Thanh Tri commune, Hanoi) from showing signs of mental instability, intending to rush into a train to commit suicide.
After that, functional forces handed over Mr. Y to his family to continue to care for and support psychological stability.
