The accident between a truck and a motorbike occurred at about 3 pm on January 11, in the Tan Hiep roundabout area, Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Initial information, at the above time, a truck with Ho Chi Minh City license plate was traveling on Nguyen Van Linh street towards DT 746 road. When the truck was about to enter Tan Hiep roundabout, an accident occurred with a motorbike driven by a woman about 35 years old traveling in the same direction.
The accident caused the motorbike and the woman to fall onto the road. Seeing the accident, people ran to help. The victim received active support but died due to severe injuries. The accident was then reported to functional agencies.
At the scene, the victim's body was next to the motorbike. The truck drove forward for a while and then stopped.
Upon receiving the news, professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to handle the scene and investigate the accident.
Previously, on the morning of January 10, an accident occurred between a truck and a motorbike in the Tan Hiep roundabout area, killing a young man.
Local people said that this roundabout area is a traffic safety black spot.
