The accident happened at about 7 am on January 10 in the Tan Hiep roundabout area, Tan Long neighborhood, Tan Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City (section passing through Tan Uyen city, Binh Duong province before).
According to initial information, at the above time, the truck was running on DT 746 road in the direction from Kim Hang roundabout to Tan Hiep roundabout.
When the truck reached the Tan Hiep roundabout area preparing to turn right into Nguyen Van Linh street to the new city of Binh Duong, an accident occurred with a motorbike traveling in the same direction.
The accident caused a couple riding a motorbike to fall onto the road, lying motionless. People came to check and support and discovered that the young man had died, and the girl was seriously injured and taken to the emergency room immediately afterwards.
At the scene, the young man's body was lying on DT 746 road. The victim's motorbike was swept under the truck, on the road there were many pieces of motorbike debris. The truck stopped nearly 10m away from the victim's body.
The accident affected traffic through the Tan Hiep roundabout area, and vehicles moved slowly through this area.
Upon receiving the news, functional forces of Tan Hiep ward were present to protect the scene and regulate traffic through the area.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated and clarified.
