Lam Dong announces forest protection hotline

On the afternoon of January 5, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that the announcement of hotlines is to promptly receive and handle information related to forest law violations, forest fire risks and emergencies.

People, agencies, and organizations when detecting acts of deforestation, illegal exploitation of forest products, risk of forest fires or forest-related incidents can call directly to the announced phone numbers to be received and handled promptly.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Mobile Forest Protection and Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Teams to arrange permanent forces, ready with vehicles and materials to coordinate in handling when receiving reports; ensuring the motto "fast response, timely response", minimizing forest resource damage.

Along with that, the units are responsible for summarizing the results of inspection, verification, and reporting to the Sub-Department of Forest Protection before 4 pm daily via phone number 02633.822.441.

The Provincial People's Committee and Lam Dong forest rangers call on people to proactively provide information when detecting signs of forest law violations. All reports are received and handled in accordance with regulations and ensure the confidentiality of information provided by the provider.
