Promoting investment cooperation, expanding export markets
The 2025 Autumn Fair - a national commercial event of unprecedented scale and stature - is chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance, the Hanoi People's Committee and ministries, branches and localities. The event will take place from October 25 to November 4, 2025 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Hanoi.
According to Mr. Vu Ba Phu - Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), the goal of the 2025 Autumn Fair is not only to promote Vietnamese goods, but also to create an environment to connect Vietnamese enterprises with international importers and distributors, promote investment cooperation, technology transfer and expand export markets.
Up to now, the Organizing Committee has received registrations from about 170 international enterprises and organizations, along with more than 300 foreign buyers wishing to come to Vietnam to attend the fair. Notably, international buyers will be supported with accommodation and travel, while foreign businesses participating in the exhibition will be exempted from booth fees and premises costs.
On the domestic business side, up to now, the Organizing Committee has received more than 3,000 applications, from more than 2,500 Vietnamese enterprises. Due to the need to exceed the number of booths, the Organizing Committee will carefully screen to select typical enterprises, representing each field: high-tech industry, heavy industry, consumer industry, services, trade and goods serving people.
Monitoring and checking the origin, quality, and prices of goods
Informing about the work of controlling the quality of goods at the fair, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan said that before the opening, relevant units will coordinate to review and inspect all goods to review enterprises participating in the fair to meet standards, sign commitments on quality, design and origin and price. During the process, the market management force will also regularly inspect and control the quality and prices of goods.
The organizing committee will set up a hotline to receive and promptly handle people's feedback on the quality of goods and businesses at the fair. Thereby, protecting the quality of the Fair as well as the reputation of the business and the health of consumers - Deputy Minister Tan informed.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the 2025 Autumn Fair is one of the special trade promotion activities, contributing significantly to the promotion and investment attraction of Hanoi city.
To ensure the origin and quality of products at the Autumn Fair, the Hanoi People's Committee has directed a thorough review and selection of reputable enterprises with certified products and clear commitments to designs and origins. In addition, the Department of Industry and Trade has also assigned standing monitoring teams throughout the fair to check the origin of goods, prices, food hygiene and safety, and prevent counterfeit and poor quality goods.
The 2025 Autumn Fair promises to be a highlight of national brand promotion and trade promotion activities in 2025, while opening the premise for the formation of a series of annual "four Seasons" Fairs - aiming to turn the Vietnam Exhibition Center into a prestigious and reliable destination for the region and the world in connecting trade, investment and cultural exchange in the future.
