On July 12, the Office of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee sent a document to members of the Provincial People's Committee regarding the issuance of a resolution regulating the support level for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers due to the arrangement of provincial administrative units and provincial civil servants to increase their work trips to the commune level.
Accordingly, after merging with Dak Nong and Binh Thuan, the new Lam Dong province has about 1,820 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers coming and working at the Provincial Administrative Center.
Currently, the traffic routes between the three old provinces do not have buses. Some offices and public housing are under repair and renovation, so there is not enough space.
Therefore, issuing policies to support travel costs, renting accommodation, first-time support for renting means of transportation, and purchasing essential household items in the initial period is necessary and urgent.
The draft resolution of the Provincial People's Council has been organized by the Department of Finance to collect opinions from localities and relevant agencies.
Based on the appraisal content of the Department of Justice, the Department of Finance has received, explained and completed the draft resolution to report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and submission to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision.

According to the draft, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers are supported with a one-time support of 10 million VND/person at the time of receiving the job.
In addition, support travel expenses of VND2 million/person/month for 12 months (except for people with standard buses).
Support for renting accommodation of 3 million VND/person/month for cases that have not been arranged accommodation after the merger, until accommodation is arranged. Couples who are all civil servants, public employees, and workers will be supported for 12 months.
For provincial civil servants who are assigned to work at the commune level, the one-time support level is 10 months of basic salary.
However, this policy does not apply to people who have worked in wards of Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Gia Nghia cities before the merger.
The estimated budget to implement this resolution is more than 72 billion VND. Of which, more than 50.8 billion VND will be spent in 2025.
Currently, the Provincial People's Committee Office is requesting members of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to submit their opinions to complete the dossier and submit it to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision.
