The Government Office issued Notice No. 359/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long at the working session of Inspection Team No. 3 on removing difficulties and obstacles at the Chi Thanh - Van Phong and Van Phong - Nha Trang component projects under the North - South expressway construction project in the East phase 2021-2025, component project 1 and component project 3 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project.
Since the previous inspection (March 12, 2025), ministries, branches, localities and contractors have made efforts to implement the tasks assigned in Notice No. 114/TB-VPCP of the Government Office, and have completed 7/14 tasks.
Currently, 2 tasks are being implemented within the deadline and there are 5 tasks that have not been completed related to the relocation of 220KV and 500KV power line technical infrastructure works and site clearance for additional branches of intersections and ditches.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested each agency and unit to have specific plans and solutions to complete and compensate for progress, be determined to overcome weather difficulties, handle weak soil, increase machinery, equipment, human resources, and focus on construction to put projects and sections of the route into operation in 2025.
For the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway component 1 project, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to resolutely direct departments and branches to speed up the relocation of 4 pillars/3 of the 220kV power line intersection.
Urge and direct investors and contractors to closely follow the completion progress of the first 20 km of the route in 2025; increase human resources, construction machinery and equipment, and financial resources to organize "3 shifts, 4 teams" to ensure the project is completed according to the set plan.
Regarding the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway component 3 project, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant units to complete site clearance for the remaining 10 hectares in August 2025 in accordance with the commitment, speeding up the relocation of high-voltage power lines to avoid affecting the project's progress.
Urge and direct investors and contractors to closely follow the project completion progress before December 19, 2025; increase human resources, construction machinery and equipment, financial resources, organize "3 shifts, 4 teams" to speed up the construction progress, not allowing unfavorable weather conditions to affect the construction progress.
For the Chi Thanh - Van Phong component project and the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Construction to direct investors and contractors to speed up the construction progress to complete the remaining part of the Van Phong - Nha Trang component project before July 30, 2025 as committed.
Complete all sections of the route without having to treat weak soil of the Chi Thanh - Van Phong section project before July 30.
The Ministry of Construction, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, and Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee direct relevant agencies to urgently deploy investment in traffic control and operation monitoring systems and rest stops to ensure synchronous exploitation of projects when put into operation according to regulations.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities to resolve assigned tasks on schedule based on their functions, tasks and powers. At the same time, strengthen inspection work, prevent corruption, negativity, waste, prevent bidding and bidding.
