On July 26, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department of Binh Duong Provincial Police said it had extinguished the fire at C.D Trading Production Company Limited in Rach Bap Industrial Park, Ben Cat City, Binh Duong Province.
Binh Duong Provincial Police dispatched 11 specialized vehicles and 66 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The fire was controlled and prevented from spreading at 10:30 p.m. on July 25, then completely extinguished.
The factory where the fire broke out was about 5,000 square meters, the burned area was about 1,500 square meters. This factory is built with brick walls, steel frames and corrugated iron roof. The main flammable substances are wood, paint, and packaging.
The fire did not cause any loss of life, and property damage is being estimated.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Binh Duong Provincial Police added that previously, this company had suspended operations according to decision No. 13/QDDC -PC07 dated March 23, 2024.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that at around 10:00 p.m. on July 25, when workers were working the night shift, they discovered a fire in the factory. The fire broke out strongly and covered the large factory area. Workers used on-site means to put out the fire but were unsuccessful. The workers quickly ran away to escape.
Upon receiving the fire report, Binh Duong Provincial Police mobilized many vehicles and dozens of soldiers to be present at the scene to extinguish the fire. At the scene, the fire caused the factory roof to collapse. Inside, many materials and machinery were burned by fire.
