On July 1, functional agencies of Gia Lai province are clarifying the cause of a sand truck crashing into a guardrail and then falling under a bridge on Ho Chi Minh road, Pleiku bypass.
Initial information, the accident occurred at 6:30 am on the same day, in the protection area of the road leading to Ia Ro Nhing bridge (Km 3+750) section passing through hamlet 1, Chu Pah commune (Gia Lai province).
At the above time, a dump truck with license plate 81H-001. XX driven by Mr. Vo Duy T (born 1990, residing in hamlet 2, Chu Pah commune, Gia Lai province) carrying sand was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh road bypassing Pleiku, in the direction from Chu Pah to Ia Hrung commune.
When the car reached the bridgehead area, the vehicle suddenly lost control and crashed into the guardrail, falling straight into a deep abyss about 20m.

As a result, the driver was slightly injured and was taken to Hoang Anh Gia Lai Hospital for emergency treatment by people and functional forces.
The truck was seriously damaged. Estimated damage is about 400 million VND. Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces quickly arrived at the scene to organize rescue, ensure traffic safety, and at the same time conduct verification and clarify the cause of the incident.
