The serious traffic accident occurred at noon on May 7 on DT 741 road, passing through hamlet 1, Dong Phu ward, Dong Nai city.
Initial information, at about 12:00 PM on the same day, a dump truck with Dak Lak license plate was traveling on DT741 road, heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Phu ward.
When reaching the intersection with road No. 1, the driver turned into Nam Dong Phu industrial park (belonging to hamlet 1, Dong Phu ward). At this time, the dump truck collided with a motorbike with Ho Chi Minh City license plate driven by Mr. D. T. T (50 years old, from Quang Binh), carrying his 4-year-old son behind, traveling in the same direction.
The accident caused both father and son Mr. T to be injured and taken to the emergency room by people. However, due to the severe injuries, the 4-year-old child died later.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the police agency.
