According to the arrangement plan, the provincial Party and mass organizations in Lang Son will make major changes including: Merging the Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department. Ending the activities of 6 party groups and 3 provincial party executive committees.
Dissolve the Party Committee of the provincial agencies to establish two Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including the Party Committee of the provincial Party, mass organizations, People's Council, and judiciary agencies and the Party Committee of the provincial government.
For the government sector and specialized agencies, merge the Department of Planning and Investment with the Department of Finance; merge the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; merge the Department of Natural Resources and Environment with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Merge the Department of Information and Communications with the Department of Science and Technology, merge the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs with the Department of Home Affairs.
At the district level, the Party building committees and specialized agencies under the district People's Committee will be arranged similarly to the provincial level. At the same time, the district will establish additional Health Departments and Ethnic and Religious Departments in 10 localities.
