On September 9, at An Khe Truong Relic, An Khe Ward People's Committee, Gia Lai province solemnly organized a flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 234th anniversary of the death of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue (1792 - 2026).
The ceremony aims to express respect, remembrance and gratitude for the great contributions of Emperor Quang Trung in the cause of struggle to protect and unify the country.
The Tay Son peasant uprising movement in the second half of the 18th century is associated with the career of the three Tay Son brothers: Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue and Nguyen Lu. Among them, typical is Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, an outstanding leader, with both bravery and courage, who turned the Tay Son movement from a peasant uprising into a national liberation struggle movement.

From a talented general, Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue became a national hero, overthrowing the feudal forces that defended Le - Trinh - Nguyen, and removing the Gianh River boundary that divided the country for more than 200 years.
At the same time, Emperor Quang Trung made a historical mark by sweeping away 50,000 Siamese troops in the resounding Rach Gam - Xoai Mut victory. The peak was the historic Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory in Ky Dau year 1789, defeating 290,000 Qing invaders, firmly protecting national independence.
