On May 27, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh has just signed and issued decision No. 1826 approving the number of Vice Chairmen of Commune-level People's Committees in the province according to current regulations on the organization of local government apparatus.
According to the decision, the whole province has 99 commune-level administrative units assigned the number of Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee according to the regulations.


In which, 40 communes and wards are arranged with a maximum of no more than 3 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee; 59 communes and wards are arranged with a maximum of no more than 2 Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee.
Localities are allocated a maximum of 3 Vice Chairmen of People's Committees, mainly those with large population scale, large areas or high management and administration requirements such as Lao Cai ward, Cam Duong ward, Sa Pa ward, Bat Xat commune, Bac Ha commune, Muong Khuong commune, Van Ban commune, Bao Yen commune, Mu Cang Chai commune...
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to guide and inspect the implementation of the decision; and proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider adjusting and supplementing the number of Commune-level People's Committee Vice Chairmen when necessary, ensuring that they do not exceed the Government's regulations.
People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for reviewing and proposing to consolidate and supplement personnel for the position of Vice Chairman of the Commune-level People's Committee in accordance with the assigned number and regulations of law.
