Started in October 2024, Quang Chu Industrial Cluster has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND. The project is located on an area of 74ha in Dong Luong village, Quang Chu commune (Thai Nguyen).
Located on the traffic axis connecting to the Cho Moi - Thai Nguyen expressway, Quang Chu Industrial Cluster is expected to attract a large number of manufacturing and processing enterprises.
It is expected that when put into operation, this industrial cluster will create jobs for over 10,000 local workers.
According to PV's records, at the end of January 2026, after a long period of construction, the Quang Chu Industrial Cluster project was basically completed. Some areas have basically completed the ground.
The internal roads, drainage culverts, and foundations of the factory area are being constructed in sub-zones. Priority locations are being focused on completion to be handed over to secondary investors.
The fact that large-scale industrial clusters are gradually forming in the mountainous area of Thai Nguyen makes local people look forward to it. In particular, migrant workers have more opportunities to access jobs.
Ms. Le Thanh Lien (Quang Chu, Thai Nguyen) said that people here mainly live on agriculture. Low income, unstable jobs make life difficult.
Since the industrial cluster was deployed, people are very excited. Having stable jobs makes life less difficult. I hope the project will be completed soon and put into operation so that local people have the opportunity to access jobs," Ms. Lien said.
Sharing the same opinion, Mr. Ho Huu Hanh (Cho Moi, Thai Nguyen) said that in the past, young people had to go to industrial parks all the way to Bac Ninh, Hanoi to find jobs. The scene is far from home, everything has to be spent, so life is very difficult.
This is the largest industrial cluster in the northern region of the province, so local people are looking forward to it. Traffic here is also convenient, from now on people do not have to go far from home to find jobs.
I hope the project will be completed soon, meeting the job needs of local workers," Mr. Hanh said.
According to the Project Management Board of Quang Chu Industrial Cluster, the project is in the stage of completing technical infrastructure items.
Currently, units are focusing on constructing leveling, clean water and wastewater treatment plants, power and water supply systems, in order to meet the technical infrastructure for secondary investors to deploy at the project.
There are already 5 secondary investors building factories in the industrial cluster campus. It is expected that in January, the project will be basically completed to put into operation, creating a foundation for factories to soon go into production.
When completed, Quang Chu Industrial Cluster is expected to contribute to creating sustainable jobs, promoting economic restructuring and improving the lives of people in the northern part of Thai Nguyen province.
