On September 7, the Steering Committee for searching, repatriating and identifying martyrs' remains of Thai Nguyen province coordinated with Phu Binh commune to take samples for DNA testing and identifying martyrs at 3 cemeteries in the area.
After the incense offering ceremony, functional forces proceeded to exhume and take remains samples at 18 graves.
In which, Huong Son martyrs' cemetery has 5 graves, Nha Long has 10 graves and Bao Ly cemetery has 3 graves.
Sampling work is carried out scientifically, strictly, in accordance with procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety and solemnity for each tomb.
The sampling is of special humanitarian significance, contributing to gradually clarifying information about martyrs who have sacrificed, bringing martyrs back to their names, homeland and relatives.
