On August 26, the Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains, Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command organized the exhumation and repatriation of 4 martyrs' remains in Long Binh village, Vinh Tuy commune, Tuyen Quang province.
From information provided by veterans and local people, the Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains, Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command, conducted verification, survey, organized exhumation and repatriation of 4 martyrs' remains. The remains have not yet been identified.
Initially, it was determined that these were the remains of martyrs who sacrificed in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland. Currently, the remains have been taken to the Team's morgue for preservation and procedures are being carried out according to regulations.

Previously, on August 23, the Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains, Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command organized the exhumation and repatriation of 8 martyrs' remains in Phin Sang village, Minh Tan commune and Hill 211, Giang Nam village, Thanh Thuy commune, Tuyen Quang province.
In the past time, functional forces of Tuyen Quang province have overcome difficulties in terrain and weather, organized the search, exhumation, and repatriation of martyrs' remains still lying on high points, in deep forests.
This activity shows responsibility, the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; and at the same time contributes to the good implementation of the "500-day and night campaign to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains".
