Road closure schedule from September 1 to September 2 in Hanoi for A80 parades

Hanoi - The schedule of road closures and restrictions on vehicles serving the A80 parade has not changed compared to the previous announcement.

On September 2, 2025, the 80th Anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 took place in Hanoi.

To ensure traffic order and safety, prevent traffic congestion, facilitate and serve the travel needs of the people and activities serving the Ceremony, Hanoi City Police announce traffic diversion and organize directions for vehicles, as follows:

From 6:00 p.m. on September 1, 2025 to 3:00 p.m. on September 2, 2025, all vehicles (except for vehicles with protection badges and vehicles serving the Ceremony) are completely banned, including:

Hoang Hoa Tham, Thuy Khue (from Hung Vuong to Van Cao), Mai Xuan Thuong, Quan Thanh, Phan Dinh Phung, Hung Vuong, Thanh Nien, Hoang Van Thu, Doc Lap, Dien Bien Phu, Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Chua Mot Coi, Le Hong Phong, Ong Ich Khiem, Ngoc Ha, Bac Son, Ton That Dam, Nguyen Canh Chan, Hoang Dieu, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Chu Van An, Ton Duc Thang, Cat Linh, Trinh Hoai Duc, Hang Chao, Tran Phu, Son Tay, Kim Ma, Lieu Giai, Van Cao, Nghi T, Yen Phu, Cua Bac, Doi Canh, La Chuong-Pho, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Le Thien Duong, Thien Tien Duong (from Thanh Trang to Trang Trang, Hai Trang, Hai Trang to Trang Trang);

Le Thanh Tong, Tong Dan (from Ly Dao Thanh to Trang Tien), Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Quang Trung (from Ly Thuong Kiet to Trang Thi), Ly Thai To, Nguyen Huu Huan, Ngo Quyen (from State Bank Square to Trang Tien), Giang Vo, Lang Ha, Lang (from Lang Ha to Tran Duy Hung).

The routes are organized to temporarily ban vehicles from circulating at the same time:

Routes inside Ring Road I:

Temporarily ban all types of vehicles (except vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles to resolve and overcome incidents).

Routes in the area from Ring Road I to Ring Road II:

Temporarily ban trucks with a total design weight of 1.5 tons or more, passenger cars with 16 seats or more (except for vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Ceremony, vehicles with priority rights, vehicles performing official duties, buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles handling and fixing incidents).

The City Police recommend that traffic participants limit traffic:

Routes in the area from Ring Road II to Ring Road III: traffic is restricted to passenger transport vehicles with less than 16 seats, private cars, and motorbikes.

Routes in the area from Ring Road I to Ring Road II: restricting traffic to vehicles.

For some routes from Ring Road III to the suburbs (including: National Highway 32, Cau Dien, Ho Tung Mau, Le Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Thang Long Avenue, Lang Tuong Road, National Highway 21A, Ho Chi Minh Road, National Highway 6, Quang Trung, Tran Phu, Nguyen Trai, Provincial Road 419, Provincial Road 429, Vo Nguyen Giap, National Highway 18): limit traffic for vehicles (except buses, garbage collection vehicles, vehicles to fix incidents, vehicles with protection badges, vehicles serving the Ceremony).

Do not stop or park vehicles on the routes to prohibit and temporarily prohibit vehicles from circulating.

Ring Road I: Nguyen Khoi - Tran Kat Chan - Dai Co Viet - Xa Dan - O Cho Dua - La Thanh - Cau Giay - Buoi - Lac Long Quan - An Duong Vuong - Au Co - Nghi Tam - Yen Phu - De 401 - Nguyen Khoi dike.

Ring Road II: Vinh Tuy - Minh Khai - Dai La - Truong Chinh - Lang - Buoi Ha Noi - Vo Chi Cong - Nhat Tan - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa - Dong Tru - Ly Son - Nguyen Van Linh - Dam Quang Trung - Vinh Tuy bridge.

Ring Road III: National Highway 1 - Thanh Tri Bridge - Do Muoi - Hoang Liet - Phap Van - Nghiem Xuan Yem - Nguyen Xien - Khuat Duy Tien - Pham Hung - Pham Van Dong - Tan Xuan - Vo Van Kiet.

During the time of organizing road closures and restricting vehicles, Hanoi City Police organized the following directions for vehicles:

Cars under temporary ban from National Highway 5, Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway, Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway to Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway move through Thanh Tri Bridge → elevated Ring Road III → Do Muoi intersection → Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.

Vehicles from the Eastern provinces (Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, ...) to the Northern, Western, and Northwestern provinces (Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang...) travel along the route: Phu Dong bridge → Thanh Tri bridge → elevated Ring Road III → Thang Long → Vo Van Kiet bridge...; or from National Highway 5 → Nguyen Duc Thuan → Thanh Tri bridge approach road → Phu Dong bridge → Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway → Hanoi - Thai Nguyen expressway to Phu Tho province, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang... and vice versa.

Vehicles from the Northern provinces (Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho...) to the Southern provinces (Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa...) travel along the route: National Highway 2 → Vo Van Kiet → Thang Long Bridge → elevated Ring Road III → Do Muoi intersection → Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.

Trucks with a total design weight of 10 tons or more traveling on the elevated Ring Road III should limit travel to intersections on Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, Nguyen Xien and comply with the management and instructions of the authorities.

Hanoi Police recommends that people from provinces, localities to Hanoi Capital attend the activities of the Ceremony to celebrate the use of passenger transport cars and public transport, especially the elevated train (route No. 2A Cat Linh - Ha Dong):

From Yen Nghia station - Ha Dong ward to Cat Linh station - O Cho Dua ward; route No. 3 Nhon - Hanoi station: from Nhon station - Tay Tuu ward to Cau Giay station - Giang Vo ward); walking on some streets in Ba Dinh ward, Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Hai Ba Trung, Giang Vo, Ngoc Ha and locations around Ba Dinh Square.

Hanoi Police also note that the time to organize the ban, temporary ban and restriction of vehicles on some routes may be changed, adjusted, to ensure compliance with the program of the Organizing Committee of the Ceremony, and request people to regularly update and learn necessary information on the website: https://a80.hanoi.gov.vn or https://congan.hanoi.gov.vn/ and other official media before participating in the activities of the Ceremony.
