The pension payment schedule for July 2026 will start from July 1, 2026 onwards. This is also the time to implement the policy of increasing pensions by an additional 8% and social insurance allowances according to Decree 162/2026/ND-CP.
On May 15, 2026, the Government issued Decree No. 162/2026/ND-CP on adjusting pensions, social insurance allowances and monthly allowances. Accordingly, it is decided to increase an additional 8% on the pension and allowance level of June 2026.
The official start time of application is from July 1, 2026.
According to the Social Insurance agency, the pension payment schedule for July 2026 is implemented in accordance with the following regulations:
Payment via personal account
According to regulations, organize monthly pension and social insurance allowance payments through bank accounts (ATMs) at regional social insurance. No later than the 5th of each month, the Department of Planning and Finance transfers money to the beneficiary's personal account.
In July 2026, the 5th day coincides with the weekend, so pensions will usually be transferred by the Social Insurance agency on the following working days.
Cash payment
Organize monthly pension and social insurance allowance payments for beneficiaries in cash through the payment service organization system according to signed contracts.
Payment at the payment point: From the 2nd to the 10th of the month, organize payment for at least 6 hours/day at all payment points;
Only terminate payments before the 10th for points that have paid off the entire number of beneficiaries according to the list transferred by the social insurance agency.
From the 11th of the month, continue payment at payment points that are transaction points of payment service organizations until the end of the 25th of the month.
Strictly implement the preparation, control, and approval of electronic payment orders before the 1st day of the payment month to ensure payment time according to the issued schedule.
Thus, the specific cash pension payment schedule for July 2026 is as follows:
Payment at the payment point
From Thursday, July 2, 2026 to Friday, July 10, 2026, organize payment for at least 6 hours/day at all payment points;
Only terminate payments before the 10th for points that have paid off the entire number of beneficiaries according to the list transferred by the social insurance agency.
Payment at the transaction point of the Payment Service Organization (Post Office):
From the 11th of the month, pension payments will continue at payment points that are transaction points of the Payment Service Organization (Post Office) until the end of the 25th of the month.
Note that in case the payment date coincides with Saturday, Sunday, or Tet holiday, the payment date is the next working day.
To ensure the smooth receipt of pensions in July 2026, beneficiaries need to ensure that personal information has been updated accurately, especially the citizen identification number (CCCD).
In case there is no CCCD or information does not match the Social Insurance system, it is necessary to quickly update according to the instructions.
People who cannot receive their pensions themselves can exercise legal authorization for relatives to receive money on their behalf.
