In the early days of June, at the intersection between To Hien Thanh street and A4 street in Bac Duyen Hai Industrial Park, Lao Cai province, many people expressed concern about the situation of vehicles regularly stopping and parking along the road to enter water stalls and lottery ticket counters located close to traffic junctions.
According to reporters' records on June 4, at many times of the day, especially during lunch breaks and late afternoons, many trucks, tractor trucks and other vehicles are parked along the road, near water stalls.

The concentration of people and vehicles stopping at intersections and intersections limits the visibility of traffic participants, posing a potential risk of collisions.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (Lao Cai ward) said that this area has a high density of vehicles because it is located in an industrial park and close to many manufacturing and logistics enterprises.
Vehicles often stop at roadside water stalls to rest and eat. Sometimes vehicles park for a long time right near the intersection, making observation very difficult. The most worrying thing is that during school dismissal hours, children ride bicycles and electric motorbikes through here quite crowded," Mr. Hung said.

Sharing the same view, Ms. Tran Thi Lan (Lao Cai ward) said that doing business along the road is a legitimate need, but it needs to be arranged appropriately so as not to affect traffic safety.
If large vehicles are parked close to intersections, it is very difficult for motorcyclists or students to observe vehicles from other directions. Just a little carelessness can cause an accident," Ms. Lan shared.
Talking to reporters, some drivers operating in the industrial park also admitted that the intersection between To Hien Thanh street and A4 street often has a situation of vehicle concentration, especially during break hours.

According to people, in addition to strengthening inspection and handling of violations of improper parking, functional agencies need to study adding no-stopping, no-parking signs or rearranging roadside business activities to ensure safety for workers and students.
Regarding this issue, Mr. Ha Duc Thuan - Deputy Head of the Economic Zone Management Board of Lao Cai province - said that the unit has received feedback on potential traffic unsafety points in the intersection of To Hien Thanh street and A4 street.
Regarding the reflection on traffic unsafety points in the intersection of To Hien Thanh street and A4 street, we accept it. We will discuss with the Economic Zone Service Center, which is directly managing this area, to conduct actual inspection," Mr. Thuan said.

Also according to the leader of the Lao Cai Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, the unit will coordinate with the Lao Cai Ward Police and relevant agencies to review the current situation and assess traffic unsafety risks to have appropriate handling measures.
