The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Decision No. 3816/QD-BNNMT on the Inspection Plan for 2025.
Accordingly, the Ministry's Office, Departments and Departments under the Ministry will organize the implementation of the plan and report the inspection results, and at the same time, based on the actual situation, propose adjustments to suit the requirements of state management. Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry are responsible for coordinating with the agency in charge of the inspection. The Ministry's Office monitors, urges and synthesizes the results to report to the Ministry.
The Ministry's inspection plan for 2025 assigns units to implement in many areas such as: Irrigation, hydrometeorology, environment, minerals, biodiversity, climate change, aquaculture, remote sensing, quality of agricultural, forestry and fishery, science - technology, personnel organization, administrative reform, citizen reception, corruption prevention, application of information technology and digital transformation...
According to the Decision, the Department of Environment will inspect compliance with environmental protection laws for production, business and service establishments in provinces/cities directly under the Central Government such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Dong Nai from September to December 2025.
The Department of Environment will inspect 10 facilities in Bac Ninh; 39 facilities in Hanoi (including Soc Son Waste Treatment Plant, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company - Hanoi Meat Processing Factory, Nam Son solid waste treatment complex, Hanoi Urban Environment Company Limited...); 27 facilities in Ninh Binh; 31 facilities in Phu Tho; 3 facilities in Quang Tri; 5 facilities in Quang Ngai; 11 facilities in Khanh Hoa; 5 facilities in Dak Lak, 6 facilities in Gia Lai...
The Department of Geology and Minerals will inspect the implementation of inspection conclusions, announce inspection results by the General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam (formerly) in Quang Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Tay Ninh, Ho Chi Minh City; Inspect compliance with mineral laws in mineral activities ( periodic inspection) in Lam Dong; Inspect the management of areas with scattered and small-scale minerals that have been identified and announced by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly); national mineral reserve areas approved by the Prime Minister and the implementation of relevant regulations; supervision of mineral exploration projects under the authority of Quang Ngai.
This Decision takes effect from the date of signing, replacing Decisions No. 4389/QD-BTNMT dated December 31, 2024; Decision No. 4390/QD BTNMT dated December 31, 2024 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (formerly); Decision No. 4320/QD-BNN-TTr dated December 10, 2024 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (formerly).
