The stadium costs more than 250 billion VND
The Bac Kan province stadium project was started in early 2024, with a total investment of 252 billion VND with an area of more than 20 hectares.
The project includes a stadium with a capacity of 8,000 seats, which can be increased to 15,000 seats with auxiliary items, gymnasium, and roads.
According to the design, the stadium is inspired by the rice husk boat in the legend of Ba Be Lake. The two sides of the main stand will be designed with canvas roofs like sails crossing the waves, combining the shape of the famous Lung Nham rocky mountain range.
In the square category, the highlight will be the 7-petal flower symbol, representing 7 ethnic groups living in Bac Kan province.
As noted by the reporter, currently on the construction site, hundreds of workers and machinery are leveling and creating a level ground for the yard. The high hills were leveled to low-lying areas. The stadium campus gradually appeared.
According to the plan, the stadium project strives to be put into use by the end of 2025.
Bac Kan's first walking street
The Walking Street project in Bac Kan City was started in May 2024.
Phase 1 has an area of more than 34,000 square meters, including the roadbed areas, the sidewalks of Thanh Nien street and the flower garden adjacent to Cau River.
Phase 2 has a total estimated area of more than 24,000 square meters, including the roadbed and sidewalks of Phac Trang street.
Currently, construction units are deploying to renovate the infrastructure of Thanh Nien route, renovate and install additional lighting systems.
Once completed, the walking street will be held in the evenings every Friday and Saturday. Including diverse and unique activities such as traditional art performances of Then singing, Tinh musical instruments, performances of folk songs and folk dances.
Information from Mr. Vy Van Duong - Head of the Urban Public Services Management Board of Bac Kan City, the walking street project will strive to be handed over before August 15 to open on August 24. The goal is to create a playground for local people, stimulate tourism demand for economic and social development.
Route connecting Nam Cat Lake
The road project to Nam Cat Lake was started in September 2023 with a total investment of 226 billion VND. The route has a total length of more than 6.5km.
As noted by the reporter, at the beginning of the project in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai ward, contractors are mobilizing hundreds of workers and machinery and equipment to carry out the construction. In addition to leveling and creating road bases, additional items are also being implemented.
At the end point of the project near Nam Cat Lake, large volumes of soil and rock are being moved from high positions to low positions.
Talking to reporters from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Vo Quoc Toan - Director of Bac Kan City Construction Investment Project Management Board said that up to now, the project is still ensuring the planned schedule. .
Once completed, the route will help synchronize traffic infrastructure. At the same time, ensure safety in the Nam Cat Lake area.
