On the morning of March 5, at Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital, Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee also led Ba Vinh commune to visit and encourage the victims injured in the landslide that occurred on the afternoon of March 3 in Cao Muon village, Ba Vinh commune.

At the visit, the Provincial General Hospital reported on the health status of the victims. Accordingly, there are 2 seriously injured people, Pham Thi Choang (64 years old); Pham Thi Troa (44 years old). The patients were transferred to the Provincial General Hospital on the evening of March 3 and were given first aid, emergency care, surgery and treatment of injuries by doctors and nurses here. Currently, patient Pham Thi Choang's health has stabilized; and patient Pham Thi Troa is being continuously monitored and actively treated by doctors and nurses.
Visiting and encouraging the victims, Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho shared the difficulties that the families faced. At the same time, she requested the Provincial General Hospital to continue to pay attention and focus on treating patients in the best way.
Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho presented support of 5 million VND to each injured case, to share and encourage the victims and their families to overcome the difficult period soon.
According to Mr. Pham Van Rach - Vice Chairman of Ba Vinh Commune People's Committee, on the afternoon of March 3, due to localized heavy rain and thunderstorms in the area, a group of 8 people going to work in acacia fields in Cao Muon village when returning encountered flash floods accompanied by soil and rocks overflowing from the mountain, causing burial.
The incident injured 3 people. Among them, 2 seriously injured people, Pham Thi Choang (64 years old), Pham Thi Troa (44 years old) in Cao Muon village, Ba Vinh commune, were transferred to the Provincial General Hospital for treatment, while Pham Van Leo (44 years old), in Nuoc Y village, Ba Vinh commune, was slightly injured and is being treated at Ba To Hospital.
Immediately after the incident occurred, local authorities mobilized police, military, and shock forces to quickly organize searches, take the injured to the emergency room, and implement remedial measures.
