On August 17, news from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police is strengthening the application of surveillance camera systems, combined with recording equipment during patrols and inspections to detect, verify and handle railway traffic violations.
Through the camera system, the time, location, vehicle, license plate and violation diễn biến are recorded, creating a basis for the Traffic Police force to verify, invite violators to work and handle according to regulations.
From March 15, 2026 to August 13, 2026, the Traffic Police force organized 943 patrol and control shifts with 2,395 turns of officers and soldiers participating. Through this, 746 violations were detected and recorded, with an estimated fine of about 1.5 billion VND; and 166 driver's licenses were revoked.
Among these, 84 cases were processed through videos and images provided by the railway industry.
The main violations are related to dangerous acts such as not complying with red lights, intentionally overtaking when the barrier needs to be lowered and stopping and parking vehicles within the railway area.
In addition to handling violations, the Traffic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police continues to coordinate with the railway industry, advising and proposing local authorities and relevant departments, agencies, and sectors to survey, close, fence off, and narrow the self-opened passages through the railway.
