According to Lao Dong's records on the afternoon of August 26, a LED screen with a length of 9m and a height of 4m was installed at HH Linh Dam apartment building (Hoang Liet ward, Hanoi).
The installation of LED screens here is aimed at serving residents of HH Linh Dam apartment building to watch the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final between Vietnam and Thailand.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang (33 years old, resident of HH Linh Dam apartment building) said that the equipment was transported here from the evening of August 25. By this morning, the installation of LED screens was completed.
She said that almost every year residents of HH Linh Dam area are installed with LED screens to watch important football matches of the Vietnamese national team.
The atmosphere here tonight will be extremely passionate. Miss Linh Dam's common stadium can be likened to a second My Dinh cauldron," Ms. Giang said.
To prepare for the explosive evening, her family proactively prepared dinner earlier than usual to promptly go down to the field to join the crowd cheering for the Vietnamese team.
As one of the people excitedly waiting for the kick-off time, Mr. Pham Xuan Truong (33 years old, resident of HH4C building) shared that watching here is more crowded and lively than sitting at home watching TV alone or going to pubs.
The urban area that can do this is really very cohesive" - Mr. Truong said.
This resident also said that all his brothers on the same floor have planned to gather together in the common yard to fuel the national team.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, a technical staff member directly installing the LED screen at HH Linh Dam apartment building, shared that this 9m x 4m screen completely meets the standards of outdoor viewing, and can withstand light rain and sun.
The sound system will be carefully shielded if the weather turns bad.
Immediately after completing the installation from the morning, the technical team conducted a trial run of the entire system to be ready for broadcasting before kick-off time.
The removal of the LED screen is expected to be carried out immediately after the match ends.
With the advantage of a 2-0 victory in the first leg, the people of Miss Linh Dam all expressed absolute belief in the championship of the Vietnamese team in this tournament.
Mr. Xuan Truong predicts that Vietnam will play safer and win the overall match with a score of 3-1 against Thailand after two legs.
Meanwhile, Ms. Giang believes in a 2-0 victory in the second leg (total score 4-0) for Vietnam and expects both Dinh Bac and Xuan Son to score.
