Focus on mass mobilization work
In recent years, mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas has been of interest to all levels and sectors in M'Drak district. This process aims to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
Accordingly, from 2021 to 2025, mass mobilization work has achieved many positive changes, with political security, order and social safety guaranteed.

Ms. H'Cua Mlo - President of the Women's Union of Ea Trang commune (M'Drak district) said: "Sisters at the commune level have worked together to stay at the grassroots level, traveling to each village in the ethnic minority area to propagate and mobilize to eliminate backward customs. Among them, there is the problem of child marriage that causes pain for a long time".
"To complete the work, promote and mobilize women, it is necessary to have extended arms of prestigious village heads and traders at the grassroots level. They are the ones who are very effective supporters for us to complete the assigned tasks" - Ms. H'Cua Mlo added.

According to Ms. H'Cua Mlo, there are households and functional agencies that have been mobilizing and propagating continuously but cannot help their families stay warm and home.
"But when there is the help of prestigious people, going to the homes of the people, it immediately promotes the effect. People listen and agree to live together," Ms. H'Cua Mlo shared.
According to the People's Committee of M'Drak district, from 2021 to 2025, the People's Committees of communes in M'Drak district have organized nearly 10 conferences to disseminate legal documents on marriage and family, prevention of domestic violence, legal aid, and crime prevention.
In which, there is the integration of career orientation, dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to the people.
Resources for implementing the conferences come from the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas. Through the training courses, 628 participants were from ethnic minority and extremely disadvantaged areas.
As a result of the training courses, many ethnic minority areas in the locality have changed their thinking and working style. They are no longer passive in life, waiting for support from local authorities. People were confident and bold in communication, ready to request support and advice from local authorities when needed.

Focus on investing in facilities and infrastructure
Mr. Y Chen MLo - Head of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Department of M'Drak district commented: "Through training courses and dissemination of laws, many people have grasped the policies and guidelines of the Party and the legal policies of the State".
"In particular, district and commune-level cadres also go to every alley, knocking on every house to carry out mass mobilization work. From there, change the mindset to do business, develop production for households, overcome difficulties, escape poverty, get rich" - Mr. Y Chen MLo affirmed.

Mr. Pham Ngoc Thach - Chairman of M'Drak District People's Committee said: "The district is one of the province's disadvantaged localities. Ethnic minorities have 8,234 households, accounting for 47.40% of the district's population.
Therefore, in addition to propaganda and mobilization work to change awareness for the people, the local government has also synchronously implemented many other methods".

According to Chairman of M'Drak District People's Committee Pham Ngoc Thach, in recent times, the district's key work has focused on investing, upgrading infrastructure, key roads to villages, hamlets, communes in disadvantaged areas, health stations, schools, etc.
