On the evening of May 12, the Film Week celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday officially opened in Vinh city, opening a series of unique cultural and artistic activities within the framework of the 2025 Sen Village Festival.
The event was organized by the Department of Cinema (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An and related units, to honor Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through the language of cinema.

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan - Director of the Department of Culture - Arts, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Dang Tran Cuong - Director of the Department of Cinema, along with leaders of film studios, artists, and filmmakers participating in the Film Week.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of the cultural sector of other provinces.
The film week takes place from May 12 to 15, introducing many emotional films about President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary topics.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: This is an important occasion to educate the tradition of patriotism, arouse the ideal of living beautifully among the young generation and affirm the pioneering role of cinema in propaganda work, promoting the cultural values of Ho Chi Minh in modern life.
The highlight of the week is the movie "Childhood Moon" - the work ordered by the State, Film Joint Stock Company produced. The film reproduces the childhood of President Ho Chi Minh in Hue capital in the patriotic Confucian home of Deputy Nguyen Sinh Sac and Ms. Hoang Thi Loan, thereby highlighting the core values forming the personality of the leader.
In addition, documentaries and feature films such as "Dream from the Heart", "Dao, Pho and Piano" are also screened for free to serve the people, soldiers and meritorious people in the province. The film was shown at many locations such as Nghe An Folk Theater (12.), Brigade 414 - Military Region IV (13.5) and Vinh University (14.5).
Within the framework of the Film Week, there are also exchanges between artists, film crews with people and armed forces in Nam Dan district and Vinh University. This is an opportunity for the public to better understand the creative journey and mission of spreading the value of revolutionary cinematic works.
