On June 26, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Central Organizing Committee Agency held the 23rd Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending and giving a speech at the Congress were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies.
Also attending were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Party Agencies. The Congress was attended by 117 delegates from 16 Party cells under the Party Committee of the Agency.
Speaking at the Congress, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the achievements and results achieved in the recent term of the Party Committee of the Central Organizing Committee.
Forecasting the world and regional situation in the coming time, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that the draft Political Report has set out quite complete and comprehensive directions, goals, tasks, and solutions; at the same time, suggested a number of issues for the Congress to study and discuss.
That is to advise on good preparation for Party Congresses at all levels to move towards the 14th National Party Congress, focusing on completing and ensuring the quality of the draft Report summarizing Party building work and implementing the Party Charter. Preparing personnel for the new term Party Committee is a "key" issue of the "key" to realizing the goals and vision of the 14th National Party Congress.
Continue to review, adjust, supplement, and perfect functions and tasks, arrange and streamline the apparatus within agencies and units according to the principle of "one agency performs many tasks", "one task is assigned to one agency to preside over and take primary responsibility".
Determine the payroll, complete the Job Position Project in accordance with the functions, tasks, scale, area, and field of operation of the central and local levels as a basis for assigning and managing the payroll of the political system in the period of 2026-2031.
The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the Central Organizing Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 19 personnel; elected the Delegation to attend the first Congress of the Party Delegations of the Central Party Agencies, for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 13 official delegates and 3 absent delegates.
At the first meeting of the same afternoon, the Party Executive Committee of the Central Organizing Committee for the 2025-2030 term elected a Standing Committee of 5 personnel.Mr. Do Trong Hung was elected Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Organizing Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
