The incident occurred at about 2:10 PM on February 5th at the intersection of Cat Tien - Cau Dong village road, An Quang commune, Hai Phong. At this time, a truck driven by Mr. T.V. H (born in 1980, residing in An Quang commune) traveling in the direction of Cat Tien village to Cau Dong village collided with a motorbike driven by Mr. N.V.N (born in 1972), carrying Ms. N.T. N (born in 1952, Mr. N's biological mother) traveling near the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway underpass to Cat Tien village.
The collision caused Ms. N to die on the way to the hospital, and Mr. N was injured. The preliminary cause was that the two vehicles did not observe and reduced speed at the intersection. Along with that, the inadequacy of traffic infrastructure at the intersection did not have a decelerator, and there were no dangerous warning signs.
Currently, the case is being investigated and handled according to regulations.
