On March 5, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City (Lam Dong) issued a decision to administratively sanction Vinasolar Bao Loc Joint Stock Company. This company was fined for illegal and unauthorized construction.
Vinasolar Bao Loc Joint Stock Company illegally built solar power systems in Loc Son Industrial Park, including many illegal and unlicensed items.
Factories No. 1 and No. 2 were granted a construction permit of 6,372m2/workshop but in reality, they were expanded to 7,020m2/workshop.
The auxiliary house and the security house were also built in the wrong location according to the license. On the roofs of factory 1, factory 2 and the office building, the company has installed illegal solar panels.
These items started construction in February 2021 and were completed in December 2021 according to Construction License No. 01/GPXD issued by Lam Dong Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.
In addition, the company also illegally built a pumping station and fire protection tank, a 685m2 roof (on the roof with a solar panel) and two power stations to connect the power to the solar power system.
These projects were implemented from March 2023 and completed in June 2024. In response to the above violations, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City has issued a decision to administratively fine Vinasolar Bao Loc Joint Stock Company a total of 370 million VND, including illegal construction of pumping station and fire protection tank: 110 million VND.
Unlicensed construction of a roof with a solar panel: 130 million VND. Unlicensed construction of two power stations: 130 million VND.
In addition, the People's Committee of Bao Loc City requested the company to demolish the violating works, including the security house, fence gate, factory No. 1, factory No. 2, and auxiliary houses, which were completed in December 2021.
At the same time, the company also had to dismantle unlicensed items and violated licensing contents such as pumping stations, fire prevention tanks, roof items and two power stations.
Previously, in March 2021, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and Bao Loc City People's Committee to review and clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals in State management, leading to Vinasolar Bao Loc Joint Stock Company investing and trading in solar power in violation of regulations.
After that, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board requested Lam Dong Power Company not to connect and purchase rooftop electricity from the entire project of this company in Loc Son Industrial Park.
