According to information from the People's Committee of Minh Hoa district, the district People's Committee headquarters project has a total investment of 17 billion VND and has completed the design phase. However, the locality has temporarily suspended construction to implement instructions on reviewing public investment projects in the area. The leader of the People's Committee of Minh Hoa district said that he will soon send a report to the People's Committee of Quang Binh province on the status of the projects under implementation.
Not only Minh Hoa, many other districts in Quang Binh province are also conducting reviews at the request of the Provincial People's Committee.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province has issued a document directing departments, branches, sectors and localities in the area to review and temporarily suspend the implementation of new construction works, repair, renovation and upgrading of working headquarters of district and commune-level administrative agencies.
This suspension is to implement Conclusion No. 126 dated February 14, 2025 and Conclusion No. 127 dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on continuing to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system.
