The project to build a working house for the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Vinh Bao district was decided by the People's Council of the district in Resolution No. 83/NQ-HDND dated November 14, 2023; the People's Committee of the district approved the project in Decision No. 2619/QD-UBND dated June 6, 2024.
The District Construction Investment Project Management Board assigned as the investor has organized the implementation of procedures, selected contractors and organized construction according to plan. The contractor has been implementing the construction since December 2024 until now.
On February 28, 2025, the Politburo and the Secretariat issued Conclusion Notice No. 127-KL/TW on the implementation of research and proposed to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system, including the content of the study to merge a number of provincial-level administrative units, not district-level organizations, continue to merge commune-level administrative units.
Implementing the direction of the District People's Committee, the District Construction Investment Project Management Board informed the contractors of the temporary suspension of the project from March 1, and the plan to continue implementation will be notified in writing later.
The project to build a new 8-storey office building with a construction area of about 924.44 m2; the total floor area is about 6,042.8 m2 with auxiliary items.
The total approved investment is more than 163.5 billion VND from the city's public investment capital assigned to the district. The project implementation period is from 2024 to 2026.
Before stopping construction, the contractors completed 8 bored piles. The total completed workload is estimated at 9 billion VND.
