On June 22, the Mobile Police Command (CSCĐ) organized a program to provide medical examinations, health consultations and gifts to wounded and sick soldiers who are being nursed at Thuan Thanh War Invalids Rehabilitation Center (Bac Ninh).
From early morning, many wounded soldiers were present at the examination area. Despite carrying injuries left by the war, they still happily welcomed the working delegation of the Mobile Police Command.

More than half a century after the war, many wounded soldiers still have to fight against prolonged sequelae. But what is easily seen in them is the optimism and calmness of those who have gone through years of fighting for the independence and freedom of the nation.
At the program, doctors and nurses of the Mobile Police Command directly examined and consulted health, and at the same time kindly inquired and encouraged wounded and sick soldiers to maintain their health. The friendly and intimate atmosphere made the meeting an opportunity for soldiers of two generations to have more opportunities to share and chat.

Visiting and giving gifts to wounded soldiers, Colonel Tran Dinh Duc - Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police - said that every meeting with wounded soldiers and sick soldiers reminds officers and soldiers in the force to appreciate the value of peace today.
According to Colonel Tran Dinh Duc, to have a peaceful, stable and developed country as it is today, many generations of fathers and brothers spared no blood and bones, youth, and were willing to sacrifice for the Fatherland. Therefore, caring for and expressing gratitude to people with meritorious services is always identified by cadres and soldiers of the People's Police as their responsibility and feelings.
The Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police also said that the medical examination, health care and gift-giving activities this time not only contribute to caring for the material and spiritual life of wounded and sick soldiers but also help educate revolutionary traditions, foster patriotism and a sense of responsibility for officers and soldiers, especially the young generation in the force.

If previous generations held guns to protect the Fatherland with their blood and youth, then today's generation must continue to preserve that achievement with a sense of responsibility, dedication to serving the people and loyalty to the Party, State and people," Colonel Tran Dinh Duc shared.
Present at the center, Mr. Nguyen Van Thach (75 years old, 1/4 wounded soldier, former anti-aircraft artillery soldier) - shared that he and many wounded soldiers here were very touched when leaders, officers, soldiers and doctors of the Mobile Police Command directly came to visit, examine patients and provide health advice.
“The most precious thing for us is not only gifts or prescriptions, but also the concern of the comrades. At this age, the thing that makes us happiest is still being remembered. Every time officers and soldiers come to visit, we look forward to it as if welcoming relatives,” Mr. Thach shared.

Over the years, gratitude work has always been concerned by the Party Committee and the Mobile Police Command, identified as a regular task. Many activities to express gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution have been implemented in many localities.
The meeting closed, but many officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police still stayed to chat and inquire about the wounded soldiers before returning to their units. In peacetime, soldiers of the past and soldiers of today meet in sharing, gratitude and the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source" is still continued through specific actions.
