On May 2nd, Long Huong Ward Police (HCMC) are coordinating with functional forces to verify and investigate the case of a man dying in the Da Xanh Lake area in the area.
According to initial information, on the morning of May 2nd, Mr. N.V.K (70 years old, residing in Long Huong ward) left home to exercise. After a while, not seeing Mr. K return, the family worriedly searched. During this process, the family saw that Mr. K's phone was still ringing and discovered it was on the bank of Da Xanh Lake, then found Mr. K in the lake but had died.
Upon receiving the news, Long Huong Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with relevant units to conduct an examination and take witness statements to serve the investigation.
Currently, functional agencies are continuing to investigate and verify to clarify the cause of the incident to resolve it according to regulations. It is known that Da Xanh Lake was formed from mineral exploitation activities.
